Passage
Last Saturday, Emma went to the big market in the town centre with her mother. They needed to buy food for the week. The market was very busy because it was the weekend. There were many people walking between the colourful stalls. First, they went to the fruit and vegetable section. Emma's mother bought two kilograms of apples, some oranges, and a big bag of potatoes. Emma chose some strawberries because they looked very fresh. Next, they went to the bakery stall and bought a loaf of bread and some croissants for Sunday breakfast. After that, they visited the cheese shop. The shopkeeper gave Emma a small piece of cheese to taste. It was delicious, so they bought half a kilogram. Finally, Emma's mother bought some flowers from an old lady near the exit. The flowers were yellow and smelled wonderful. They spent about two hours at the market and then drove home.
