Subject-Verb Agreement (Özne-Yüklem Uyumu) Nedir?
Subject-Verb Agreement, cümledeki öznenin tekil ya da çoğul oluşuna göre fiilin uyumlu kullanılmasıdır. Tekil özne tekil fiil, çoğul özne çoğul fiil alır. Örnek: "The dog runs." / "The dogs run."
Temel Kural
Tekil özne → tekil fiil (-s ekli): He works.
Çoğul özne → çoğul fiil (yalın): They work.
Sorun genellikle özne ile fiil arasına giren ifadelerden kaynaklanır.
